About the event
The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot is one of the largest multi-event races in the country. The excitement that surrounds Dallas City Hall Plaza grows each year as more runners and new generations of families turn out to experience the fun, family-friendly atmosphere that is the backdrop for the race and walk.
The Trot consists of both certified 5K and 8-mile races for serious runners. The 5K is also the choice course for new runners, families with young kids/strollers, grandparents, and anyone looking to take their time and enjoy the morning with friends and family.
Why should you sponsor?
All proceeds from the The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot support community programs by the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, such as LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Safety Around Water, and after school care scholarships for low-income, working families just to name a few. For over 50 years the Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot has been THE thing to do Thanksgiving morning.
Over 25,000 participants and thousands of spectators gather at Dallas's City Hall plaza to run, walk, and enjoy some outdoor exercise. Sponsors of the event have the potential for 100K -1M impressions through The Trot marketing efforts and assist the YMCA in strengthening the foundations of community.
