Farooq Ahmad

My name is Farooq Ahmad, and I am a chess organizer and trainer based in Multan, Punjab. I am the founder and organizer of ArenaX Multan, a chess initiative affiliated with the Chess Federation of Pakistan (CFP) and working in coordination with NMSI to promote federated chess activities.

My work focuses on youth development and inclusive chess, including the training of blind and differently-abled players and preparing them for national and Asian-level championships. I regularly organize training camps, local and federated tournaments, following official rules and standards.

With a strong commitment to community development, I continue these efforts despite limited resources, aiming to build a sustainable chess ecosystem in South Punjab. My long-term vision is to provide equal opportunities, discover emerging talent, and use chess as a powerful tool for education, discipline, and social empowerment.
