For more than 40 years, the Beverly/Morgan Park Home Tour has been opening doors to some of Chicago's most remarkable homes. It's the oldest home tour in the city, and it's become a beloved tradition for architecture lovers, curious neighbors, and anyone who appreciates beautiful spaces.
This self-guided tour takes you inside stunning private residences where vintage architecture meets modern living. You'll see how families have lovingly preserved historic details while making these homes work for today. The tour begins at the historic Morgan Park United Methodist Church, designed by renowned architect Harry Hale Waterman, and celebrates what makes Beverly/Morgan Park a designated Chicago Landmark District.
Why This Matters
This isn't just a fun afternoon out—it's how we fund the work that keeps our neighborhood special. Every ticket sold supports the Beverly Area Planning Association's efforts to preserve historic buildings, teach people about our architectural heritage, and protect the character of our community for the next generation.
Hundreds of people join us each year to explore these homes, making the tour both a community gathering and our most important fundraiser of the year.
When you support the Home Tour, you're helping preserve a piece of Chicago history.
Your Brand Reaches the Right Audience: Our attendees are homeowners, preservationists, and community leaders with discretionary income who value quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. They're actively invested in their homes and neighborhoods—exactly the customers who appreciate brands that share those values.
Meaningful Community Impact: This isn't just marketing—it's mission-driven. Proceeds directly fund BAPA's preservation, restoration, and educational programs that protect our architectural heritage. Sponsors show they care about more than sales; they care about sustaining the character and history of Chicago's communities.
High Visibility & Engagement:
Long-Term Partnership Potential: This is an annual event with loyal repeat attendees. Sponsors who join us become part of the Home Tour story and can build lasting relationships with our community year after year.
Supporting the Home Tour means investing in Chicago history, connecting with engaged residents, and building goodwill that lasts well beyond one Sunday in May.
I'm a proud Beverly native who grew up exploring this neighborhood's tree-lined streets and beautiful homes. After time away, I returned seven years ago to raise my family here—because there's truly no place like it. Beverly is known as "the village in the big city," and that's exactly what drew me back: the tight-knit community, the stunning architecture, and the neighbors who genuinely care about preserving what makes this place special.
As a BAPA board member, I'm committed to ensuring that the character and charm of Beverly/Morgan Park thrives for the next generation. The Home Tour is more than just an event for me—it's a celebration of the neighborhood I love and a critical way we fund the preservation work that keeps our community's history alive.
I'm excited to connect with sponsors who share our passion for quality, community, and protecting the places that matter. Let's work together to make this year's tour the best yet!
