About the event

This exhibit is an environmental call to action and will focus on individual actions visitors can take and ways for them to engage with their local community. The centerpiece is an immersive art installation that features an infinity room, LEDs, and inspiring audio (Morgan Freeman narrating the urgency of our environmental issues) and will be the first thing people do when they visit. This will place them in a mindset where environmental action is crucial, and your company has the chance to show visitors that you agree.

Why should you sponsor?

By sponsoring this event, you are showing the public that you are committed to protecting the environment, and you can provide details on how you'll help them make an impact. In addition, if you purchase the gold or silver packages, you will have a large space in the exhibit where your company can market it's green initiatives that the public is unaware of. Unless someone is specifically interested in learning about a company's environmental goals, they won't know anything about them.

I have a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and worked at NASA Goddard for 3 years in satellite operations. The satellites I was involved with were Earth Observing Satellites, which means they are constantly taking data that cleary shows our planet is changing. I wanted to have more of a tangible impact on helping the environment, so I am taking the initiative to build an exhibit to reach the community where I'm from.

Other tid bits are that I live in Washington, DC, play a lot of Ultimate Frisbee, love snowboarding, am a dog person but currently have an amazing cat, and I love making LEDs react to music.
