BYOD benefits a non-profit organization called Detroit Dog Rescue, Detroit's only no-kill shelter. All of the profits from BYOD go directly to DDR. Giving back to the community and supporting our fellow pups is very important to the members of BYOD, and we are glad the event has been able to make an impact for the past few years. Bring Your Own Dog was started in 2016 years ago by a small group of students from Bloomfield Hills High School. After three years of hard work, we are hosting out third annual charity pop-up dog park. In the past two year, we have had over 800 attendees, and raised over $2500 for the Michigan Humane Society. As a small non-profit, student lead organization, we need all the help we can get in order to host another succesful event in order to raise money and awareness for the K-9 community of Detroit, Michigan!

We are a team of hard working students looking to raise money and awareness for both dogs and the small business community. BYOD 2019 is our third annual pop-up charity dog park, and we are continiuing to grow every year!

If you're business caters to animals, you are eligable to host a booth at BYOD. Typically, businesses will bring their own tent, business cards, and sample products to hand out to BYOD attendees. Tables and chairs will be provided upon request. This is an incredible opportunity to advertise your business to communities across Michigan, as well as support Detroit Dog Rescue, Detroit, Michigan's only no-kill dog shelter.
