Bull Riding in the Rockies is returning to Invermere for the 21st year and already, there’s excitement in the air. 

Crowds of spectators turn out each year to the lot next door to the Invermere Curling Club to cheer the professional circuit riders at the Invermere-style rodeo. Bull Riding in the Rockies is a fund-raiser for the Columbia Valley Rockies hockey club. Usually the attendance is close to 2,500+ fans who turn out to cheer about 30 of the World's top professional competitors as they wrestle with  prime quality bulls. Last Years Winner of the Calgary Stampede Marcos Gloria won the Bull Riding in the Rockies event!

Rockies Hockey

The Columbia Valley Rockies Booster Society  began in 1979 to support the local Junior Hockey Club. 21 Years ago the board members buckled their belts and prepared for a wild ride! The board of directors settled on having a summer fundraiser for the hockey club and decided a rodeo of bull riding would be the event. This event has been strong for more than 20 years with some of the original committee members still guiding the way. Sponsoring this event is a tremendous opportunity.
