About the event

Careers Champion is a periodical award recognising the great work done by individuals across the Careers sector, we focus on rewearding the people that make a difference. The aim of Careers Champion is to cast the net far and wide. The remit for nominations is simple - people who are doing fantastic Careers work that should be recognised. This can be Higher Education Professionals; Careers writers; Consultants, Advisers and Co-ordinators; Leaders; Head of Careers and Teachers or Careers Innovators to give a few examples.There will be three contests in 2019, the first in March, then June and finally October. Voters will vote via the Careers Champion website with fantastic prizes for the winners and nominees. Potential Careers Champions can be nominated during the competition window and shortlisted nominees can gain votes towards winning the top prize in our finalists’ online poll.

Careers work is demanding and often undervalued. There are many fantastic people out there making a difference throughout this sector and we want to show our and your appreciation towards them.

Why should you sponsor?

We had 57,000 website votes for our award events between 2017 and 2018 and this number is ever increasing. Our sponsor will benefit from access and exposure to various age groups and demographics. We've found our main demographics are in the education and careers sector, this includes students of all ages, teachers, career consultants, high education professionals and many more. Careers Champion aims to bring recognitoin to those who deserve it and helps highlight and reward people in the community that make a difference. By being our main sponsor you'll help strengthen this message and show potential customers you want to reward the individuals that work hard to develop others.

Alastair Renshaw

My name is Alastair and I've worked in Sales and Marketing in various sectors for many years. I work on behalf of Careers Champion along with a few other related companies and work to help broaden horizons and expand to greater demographics.

I chose to work for Careers Champion as it's a fantastic cause, I always like to give back to the community and this is another way for me to achieve this. I decided to create a listing on Sponsor My Event to bring in a more cashflow so we can grow the event and reward more people in the career education sector. There is very little indivual recognition in this industry and I know of numerous people who go well beyond their job role to help develop others, lets make someones day and give them the appreciation they deserve.
