    CodexCaliber: Fostering Open-Source Innovation

    Sandesh Lavshetty

    I am Sandesh Lavshetty, a 2nd-year CSA student at IIIT Nagpur, passionate about fostering innovation and collaboration within the tech community. I am the Co-lead of GDG (Google Developer Group) IIIT Nagpur, where I actively organize and manage initiatives aimed at empowering students and developers to learn, grow, and contribute to the tech ecosystem.

    My Role in GDG IIIT Nagpur
    As a Co-lead, my responsibilities include:

    1. Event Organization:

      • Spearheaded events like CodexCaliber (an open-source program inspired by GSoC), Gemini Era, Web3 sessions, and ML workshops to provide learning opportunities for the community.
    2. Community Building:

      • Actively engaging with developers and students to create a thriving community focused on skill development and innovation.
      • Collaborated with industry experts to host insightful workshops and mentoring sessions.
    3. Partnership and Outreach:

      • Building partnerships with organizations and sponsors to support events and bring more value to the community.
      • Representing GDG IIIT Nagpur in discussions with stakeholders to align our initiatives with industry needs.
