About the event

Comics Uncovered is an essential life line for hundreds of aspiring comic creators as usually they would not have this sort of access to editors from the USA and the UK or professional artists and writers willing to give their time and to share their knowledge.

Comics Uncovered includes a full program of educational and inspiring events aimed primarily at 16 – 45 year olds. However we strongly believe that learning is a life long endeavour and we are incredibly inclusive of those of all ages and backgrounds.

We attract a varied demographic of visitors with 60% of our paying visitors from 2014 to 2016 being between 25 – 40 years old with 40% of those being female. 22% of our visitors are under 18.

Any surplus funds raised from the conference go back into improving and expanding the event for the following year as we are a non profit making event.

• The purpose of COMICS UNCOVERED is to create a safe, friendly and fun environment for people of all ages and all backgrounds to learn about creating comics and to provide them with opportunities of employment and advice from within the international comics publishing industry.
