About the event

Dear sir,

Sub: Sponsorship Appeal for Dental Awareness Marathon                               - “Dentathon 2019”- Brush your Teeth Twice Daily .

Greetings  from Indian Dental Association,Coimbatore.                             Guinness Record Holder-Screened 19,904 patients in 24 hours in October 2010 - Remains unbeaten till now.      

We are glad to inform that we are organizing the 34^th Tamilnadu State Dental Conference to be held on 29,30,November & 01 December 2019 at   Jenneys Residency,Coimbatore .

The Scientific session includes Four Orations & 24 Guest lectures with speakers from India and abroad.                                                                   We  expect 1000 -1200 Dental Surgeons to take part in this Conference.

 As a part of  this event, we are planning  to organise "Dentathon 2019"- 3km,5km &10 km Marathon to create Dental Awareness among the people of Coimbatore  on                                                                         Sunday,01 December 2019 between 5 am to 9 am .

As per our health statistics in our country, 95%  children are affected by Dental caries and hence this event will  create  awareness  and to promote oral hygiene among the children.           

We had already conducted a similar event Dentathon in 2012 and 4564 participants took part in this event at Coimbatore.

We expect 5,000 people to take part in this social welfare event.  To add color to this event ,we are planning to erect  booths at every km to distribute oral health products and oral hygiene pamphlets  to the participants of this event. We have planned to give T- shirts for the first 3,000 Participants and the Organisers . The  T-Shirts will be in red and white colour and caps for the Organisers 

We are glad that you are actively involved in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and hence we request you to be a sponsor  for this noble event .

Your company  logo will be printed in the T-Shirts. caps, cloth banners and all other advertisement materials .As this event will be held in the heart of the city ,it will have wide coverage by the Media  and the Public.                   The Budget for this programme is as follows:

I am the organiser of this event and I have an experience of conducting a similar Marathon in 2012 where 4564participants took part in that  event.

I have been aasocaited in welfare activities for the past 25 years  and under my Presidentship of IDA, Coimbatore, we created a Guinness World Record  by screening 19,904 patients in october 2012
