About the event
All ages event showcasing the original elements if hip-hop and preserving the hip-hop culture. It is important for kids to understand that what they see today, including lyrics about drugs, is not how hip-hop started. This show will have MC’s freestyling from the top of their head, DJ’s scratching on records, graffiti artists showcasing their skills, and break-dancers on the dancefloor battling for a trophy.

Elizabeth RodriguezVibin Out is a hip-hop radio show on the Excitement Radio station. It is hosted by ShortyDooWop & DJ FInesco. They are a mom and son duo who do not always agree on the music. ShortyDooWop prefers old-school hip-hop and DJ Finesco prefers the new hip-hop. But one thing that brings them together is the love of hip-hop culture. SHortyDooWop is currently a graduate student studying New Media Journalism.
