Fyunli Kauthig (International Women's Day 2019),

Uttarakhand, India Uttarakhand, India

  • About the event

We are Sewa International, a not for profit organization spread over 22 countries and working towards disaster relief and rehabilitation, skill development, health and education in various parts of India. On the occasion of the forthcoming International Women's Day on 8th March 2018, we are celebrating Fyunli Kauthig a traditional festival at Uttarakhand, honouring the spirit of womanhood and entrepreneurship. More than 4000 women will be a part of this event, most of whom are members of our Self Help Groups in the district of Rudraprayag and Chamoli. The chief guest of the event will be Honourable Governor of Uttarakhand Smt Baby Rani Maurya.

The last 3 years saw a plethora of activities being carried out throughout the day by the women from various parts of Rudraprayag and Chamoli. From cultural dances presented by women and young girls, belonging to the region and the skits performed by actors, the event also saw a camaraderie and bonhomie amongst women when they enthusiastically participated in sports activities like Tug-Of-War. The women from Bhutia tribes in their traditional attires and majestic dance moves lit up the entire stage. The event also recognizes the women achievers of the region. Felicitation of various women achievers is done on the day

Please drop us an e-mail for further details and queries.

    Why should you sponsor?

We are looking for sponsorships for the event from organizations who are looking forward to expanding their markets in the untapped regions of Uttarakhand. The event provides a wonderful opportunity to reach out to areas that are otherwise digitally inaccessible and to connect with local entrepreneurs, artisans, farmers etc.

We also provide different sponsorship packages as per the contribution made. Feel free to reach out at *****@****.***
