Glitter by the River is a Roaring ’20s-inspired summer gala celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Friends of Lower Fort Garry. Set against the historic backdrop of Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site, the event offers an immersive evening of live jazz music, dancing, curated food stations, custom cocktails, and interactive experiences that bring the glamour of the 1920s to life.
More than just a celebration, the event serves as a key fundraiser supporting youth programming, heritage education, and community initiatives led by Friends of Lower Fort Garry. Proceeds help provide accessible camp opportunities for youth, support local employment and training, and ensure the continued preservation and activation of this important historic site.
The event will attract a diverse audience of young professionals, community leaders, history enthusiasts, and supporters of arts and culture, offering sponsors meaningful visibility and engagement within a vibrant and growing network.
