About the event
The GFT is Florida's original and the longest running independent full distance triathlon in the country. This year, 2019, marks the 29th running of the GFT! The Great Floridian Triathlon is recognized around the world and has hosted athletes from all 50 states and more than 40 countries. Athletes will swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, then run 26.2 miles ina and around Lake County Florida. A true test of physical and mental strength and endurance!
