Austin OrourkeAustin O’Rourke serves as the Commissioner of the Power Play Senior “A” Hockey League (PPSHL), bringing a rare blend of on-ice experience, officiating expertise, and executive leadership to the league’s next era of growth.
A former player and long-time official, O’Rourke has built his career around raising the standard of adult hockey — focusing on professionalism, structure, and respect for the game. Under his leadership, the PPSHL has evolved into a legitimate Senior “A” platform that bridges competitive play with a community-driven culture.
He also continues to oversee the Department of Player Safety (DOPS), ensuring consistency, accountability, and fairness across all levels of competition. Known for his direct communication style and passion for developing both players and officials
