IGNITIA 2K25 – A Celebration of Innovation and Impact

Event Description
IGNITIA 2K25 is a two-day innovation challenge that brings together creative thinkers, developers, and problem-solvers to tackle real-world challenges through competitive and collaborative rounds. The event mirrors the startup journey — from identifying challenges to brainstorming solutions, building prototypes, and pitching ideas. Participants experience a complete innovation cycle designed to test creativity, strategy, teamwork, and technical skills.
The event begins with a unique Problem Statement Auction, where teams use virtual currency called IgniterCoins to bid on the problems they wish to solve. This introduces strategy and decision-making early in the game. Next comes the Ideathon Round, where teams brainstorm and outline their proposed solutions. On the second day, teams move into the Implementation Round, where they develop working prototypes or workflows. Finally, in the Pitch Round, teams present their solutions before the judging panel, showcasing their innovation, execution, and potential impact.
IGNITIA 2K25 is not just a competition — it’s a launchpad for innovation and an opportunity for sponsors to connect with the brightest student minds driving the future of technology and entrepreneurship.
Objectives
The objective of IGNITIA 2K25 is to fuel innovation, encourage teamwork, and build a platform where young minds turn ideas into reality. It aims to connect students with industry professionals, giving them exposure to problem-solving at scale while offering companies a direct window into emerging talent and future innovators.
Event Requirements
The event requires access to suitable college infrastructure including auditoriums or seminar halls for the auction and pitching rounds, as well as computer labs or classrooms for implementation. Proper arrangements for projectors, microphones, sound systems, and Wi-Fi are essential.
The organizing team will also need support for printing materials such as posters, badges, certificates, and judging sheets. Around 25 volunteers will be engaged for various tasks, including logistics, registration, technical support, promotions, and hospitality. Three to four judges from academia or industry will evaluate the final pitches. Additional support will include photography, videography, anchoring, and decoration teams to ensure smooth execution and engaging visual documentation of the event.
Preferences
Sponsors from technology, education, or entrepreneurship-focused industries are most aligned with the event’s goals. Companies involved in EdTech, IT services, or innovation-based CSR programs are preferred partners. Judges will be selected from industry backgrounds or startup ecosystems to bring authenticity and professional feedback to participants.
Event promotions will focus on Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, and the Unstop platform for wide digital reach. The event will maintain a creative and eco-friendly theme in its branding, using sustainable materials for artwork and decorations. Deliverables for participants include certificates, goodies, and opportunities for internships or collaborations with sponsors.
Budget Estimate
The total estimated cost of IGNITIA 2K25 is ₹45,000. The breakdown includes ₹15,000 for the prize pool, ₹10,000 for posters, printing, badges, and artwork, ₹8,000 for venue setup and logistics, ₹5,000 for refreshments, ₹5,000 for social media promotions and advertisements, and ₹2,000 for miscellaneous expenses.
The budget covers all necessary logistics, materials, and recognition elements to ensure a professional and impactful event experience for both participants and sponsors.

I’m K. Varun Sai, President of the Unstop Igniters Club and a 3rd-year B.Tech student in Computer Science and Information Technology at MLR Institute of Technology. With a deep passion for technology, innovation, and leadership, I strive to create opportunities that bridge the gap between students and the professional world.
As the President, I’ve led multiple initiatives that encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and creative thinking among students.
