    Ernestine Shepherd will be the keynote speaker and guest trainer at Black Girls Lift 2019 Kick-off event at the Riverside Epicenter in Austell, GA on January 20, 2019.  This event will consist of a 1-hour mat-based, body weight work-out with fitness trainer, Ernestine Shepherd, a 1-hour motivational speech, and an option 30-minute photograpy session with Ernestine Shepherd.

    The goal of tihs event is to inspire and motivate attendees to begin or maintain a regular work-out program that incorporates some form of weight or resistance training.

     

    About Ernestine Shepherd:

    Ernestine Shepherd holds the Guinness Records Title as the World's Oldest Female Bodybuilder and the Granny's Six-pack Title in the "Ripley's Believe it or Not!" book. She has been featured on many television talk shows including Oprah, Steve Harvey, and the Dr. Oz shows (to name a few).  She consistently demonstrates and lives her mantra, "Determined, Dedicated, Disciplined - To be fit for life" and has inspired hundreds of thousands of women to begin a workout program.  Ernestine is a highly inspirational to the black community and is a huge draw for our events.

     

    About Black Girls Lift:
    Black Girls Lift is a fitness organization that motivates, teaches, and encourages minority women to start lifting weights.  Black Girls Lift offers fitness events, educational workshops, personal training, health coaching, and meal preparation services with the aim of helping its members reach their health and fitness goals.

    Candace White

    Candace White founded Black Girls Lift in March 2015 with a strong desire to help black women meet their health and fitness goals.  She has organized hundreds of events, including nutrition seminars, group training sessions, and boot camps.

    She has inspired hundreds of black women to begin exercising or include a strength training component in their workouts.  Through the organization, she and her Black Girls Lift team have created a movement to help black women become stronger and live longer.
