About the event

I would like to introduce myself and the current project I am working on. My name is Sergio Martinez, President of Maraton Salsera and am working alongside my Vice President of the company, Susana Martinez. We have been working on the ambitious project of a cultural event called Maraton Salsera, a two-day salsa and timba festival. It is being held at The Complex Coliseum Hofstra University on December 1^st and 2^nd.  Our mission with this project has been to bring back the soul that used to identify New York City as the Salsa capital of the world; the way that the Fania All Stars did back in 80’s. Our goal is to provide a 100% Latin festival by bringing in artist from all around the world, Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, Dominican Republic and some local artist.

Why should you sponsor?

We invite companies to partner with us and be represented at Maraton Salsera 2018. Sponsorships from companies such as yours are crucial to the success of a festival like Maratón Salsera. We are currently offering two levels of sponsorships:

Tier 1: Fiscal sponsorship of any amount which directly goes to cover the cost of accommodations for participating artists
Tier 2: Exchange of services sponsorship, in which you could provide a service, food or drink to help our event

In addition to being listed on all advertising and press as a sponsor of the event, you will also have the opportunity to host a booth at our event to promote promote your brand and product.

We here at Maraton Salsera are just a group of people with an ambitious dream of a cultural event.
