Nightingale College Graduation,

About the event

It is a graduation hosted by students of Nightingale College. We are nursing students and are set to graduate in Late April of 2024. Our nursing program is an online program located in Salt Lake CIty, UT and the majority of students are from California and due to the restricted amount of guests allowed for Utah graduation. The students in Calfiornia have come together to plan a graduation in Sacramento, CA. 

The funds that has been collected will go towards venue deposit/fee, photographer on site, venue insurance, Decorations from Balloon company, and go towards booking flights and hotels for professors who will be on site to give the award. 

Why should you sponsor?

As nursing students, there are some of us that work and some that don't. Planning this graduation isn't easy because it requires money and a lot more than what we have planned. It is hard to ask for more money from students as we don't know everyone's situation. 

Some students are not able to afford to fly their family to Utah for graduation, therefore, it has resulted us to plan this for us to celebrate our accomplishments.

Hello, my name is Christina and I am a nursing student who is set to graduate next Spring 2024. 

A colleague of mine and I planned this graduation for the students who are not able to travel to Utah due to expenses. 

Even though, there are days that I felt like having a graduation wouldn't matter because I lost my father earlier this year. I really wanted him to see me walk the stage but knowing that I won't have him there breaks me but I do still have my mom, my family and my husband who supports me throughout my nursing journey. I want everyone there and if given the opportunity to host our graduation event at SOFIA in Sacramento, CA would allow me to have all my family there and well as my colleages family there. 

This event is being hosted and funded by students who will be attending the graduation. We are looking to be funded to help with the copies of program booklets.
