We are a celebration of life and lifestyles. Twice a year, pecanstreetfestival.org closes over 20 blocks of Downtown to celebrate Art, Live Music, Austin Creative Heart and Culture.

Professional, amazing Visual Artists, in over 300 booths of art, over 40 bands relevant to Austin Musical History, emergent talent, in 3 stages and roaming the streets. Magicians. Zoo for the kids to learn to love animals. Colors, styles, young and old, all inclusive, all walks of life, religions, ethnic groups, income brakets. Free Admission.

Proceeds benefit The Pecan Street Association, Inc and other local charities.

Hi my name is Alex and I began working for Luis of Special Events Live as my internship for my Music Business degree at Austin Community College in January of 2018. After my internship ended and I recieved my associates, Luis hired me to help him with many online/camera/video/adobe marketing & advertising for various projects. Now I am starting to work for Special Events Live selling sponsors. I am in the event business because I always want to work side by side with music.
