    Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring Inclusivity for People of Color and Artists of Color

OmTara Events is producing the 4th annual Resonance Restival. This is a family-friendly and inclusive event, safe for all people of all backgrounds to learn, play and grow as a broader community of people seeking to advance their knowledge and level of mindful healthy yogic and meditation practices.

Yoga, meditation, mindfulness and wellness practices are unfortunately often seen by people of color as an area of modern culture that is by and for a dominant culture of white people.  Music & Yoga festival culture in the US is ripe for opening up for inclusivity of all and these events are richer when their featured artists and participants are from more diverse backgrounds.

At the same time, attracting well-known artists of color to perform requires funding and outreach + advertising to communities of color to attend these events requires funding & scholarships.

Your sponsorship donations will support healing, understanding and the introduction to yogic and mindfulness practices for those who may not have had an opportunity to attend such an event.

Donation - Sponsor a Musical Artist of Color

In the Restival's ongoing effort for inclusivity & diversity in the world of yoga events in the west, we want to feature well-known conscious music artists of color on our main stage at Restival 2020. Your donation of $3500 or more will allow us to book these artists for our event of up to 500 people. We will also feature your brand name, logo on our website and promotional materials as an event sponsor. It is important feature artists of color that draw & speak to people of color in a yoga and wellness landscape in the US that is largely perceived as a cultural scene geared toward white people.
