About the event

The First Annual Snipers Unknown Challenge will be held 25-26 August 2018, in Laurens, South Carolina. This will be a two-day competition hosted by Fenix Strategies and South Carolina Official Training Grounds (SCOTG), which will encompass a wide variety of sniper team tasks throughout a 2,000+-acre facility.  This competition will be open to the public, to include military and law enforcement agencies, which allows the opportunity for shooters around the world to showcase their skills. The competition will be a grueling and challenging event that will test all shooters both physically and mentally. This will be more than just a competition, as many shooters will bring unique skill sets and lessons learned from civilian applications to combat and law enforcement environments. All stages will be set to stimulate real-world scenarios. These courses will test and validate the team’s overall shooting skills, including judgment, survival, teamwork, tactics, shooting under physical and mental stress, to include much more.

Some stages you can expect to see include: Engaging targets from a moving watercraft, Target Detection, KIMS, Timed Engagements, Hostage & Target Discrimination, Urban Room, Known and Unknown Engagements, Teamwork Tests, and Stress Shoots to name a few.

 The Snipers Unknown Challenge will consist of two-man sniper/observer teams. Any single shooters who enter will be paired up at the tournament.

 Each team must have a designated Primary shooter ( 5.56/.223 or larger, up to and including .300 Winchester Magnum)  and Secondary shooter(5.56/.223 or .308 only), to include pistol that adheres to USPSA limited, production, or single stack divisions.

There is a 60-team limit; so early registration is recommended.

All participants in the tournament will receive a commemorative T-shirt and Goodie Bag. The top 10 teams will have access to the coveted prize tables and top 3 teams will receive an exclusive trophy. All shooters will be expected to adhere to very strict safety policies throughout the tournament.
