About the event

SNU-Fest is our annual philanthropy event that we put on every year and is an EDM Concert our Fraternity Sigma Nu - Theta Rho will host on Friday, November 7th. This is Illinois State University’s biggest Fraternity Philanthropy Event on campus as we oversold max capacity the last 3 years at The Castle Theatre in Bloomington IL (825 Tickets Sold). In the past we have featured major artists such as Ship Wrek, Borgore, and Two Friends. This year we have Ian Asher as our artist. He currently has over 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify and around 7 million followers on Tiktok. He has also recently played at Lollapalooza in Chicago. All the proceeds raised from the event are donated to the St. Jude Foundation and last year we raised $27,000. This year, we aim to raise around $30,000 to donate to the St. Jude Foundation and this cannot be done without the help of our grateful donors.

As President of Sigma Nu Theta Rho Chapter at Illinois State University, I am proud to lead a fraternity that is dedicated to building better men through our core values of Love, Truth, and Honor. In this role, I oversee the chapter’s operations, philanthropy, and community involvement while working closely with our members to ensure we continue to make a positive impact on campus and beyond.

One of the most rewarding parts of my position is organizing our annual philanthropy event, SNU-Fest. Leading this effort allows me to combine event planning, leadership, and service into an experience that not only unites our chapter but also makes a real difference for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I am passionate about growing this event each year and ensuring our efforts create lasting value for both the community and the families supported by St. Jude.
