  • About the event

This is a FREE event for youth between 8-18. This conference is dedicated, created and focused on building the communication skills of our community youth! Who is this conference for? Up and coming young authors, speakers and kidpreneurs!

Do you know a creative young person who wants to write a book? Perhaps they would like to develop the confidence to speak in front of an audience. Has your child dreamed of becoming a BOSS? The Speak Out ~ Write Now Conference was designed specifically for them.

Our keynote speaker is Miss Kinyah Bean, 9 year old CEO, published author and dynamic young lady. Our vendors are KidPreneurs and the entertainment is extraordinary young people across the state.

Our theme: Confidence Looks Good On Me!

Youth will learn from their peers how infinite the power of confidence can be. Training sessions lead by local published authors and speakers for both future authors and speakers.  Music, food, prizes, and a lot of FUN!

Parents, we encourage you to spend the day with us as we build and fortify confidence one child at a time.

Every Child Has a Story is a 501(C)(3) registered public non profit organization. It was founded on the need for empowering today's youth by becoming the bridge in the proverbial village it takes to raise a child, connecting families in a reciprocal learning experience. Ever since our organization was established, we have endeavored to build stellar communication skills in our communities children.

Our team is made up entirely of volunteers. We advocate for those who need our help. Even a little help goes a long way.

That is why we are especially happy to find new volunteers who share our commitment to our VISION: A world where every child has a future filled with self confidence and the ability to become and do anything they choose, so long as they are willing to put forth the effort. A world where success is within their reach and they have the tools needed to master the ability to make good decisions, become responsible citizens and live their best lives.

When a child can face their peers and others, speaking in such a way that their message is clearly conveyed to the listener… something magical happens.

Children growing up with confidence in their own abilities tend to do better in school, take better care of themselves than their peers with low self-confidence levels, and excel in sports and socialization.

Teens with self-confidence are better able to withstand peer pressure and to make decisions with their own best interests in mind.  Stellar communication skills makes all this possible.

Imagine a future like this for every child! This is our vision. Because of the work we do at Every Child Has a Story …this VISION is absolutely possible.
