  • About the event

The 9th Annual Swing for Autism Golf Tournament and Celebration will be held on November 5, 2018 at the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club. Proceeds from the event will benefit two nonprofit organizations: New Vista School and Spirit League.

Since the inaugural Swing for Autism Golf Tournament in 2009, over $700,000 has been raised at the Event to benefit children with autism.

    Why should you sponsor?

New Vista School is a 501(c)(3), WASC accredited independent school serving the needs of Orange County students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in grades 6-12 and beyond.  Their mission is to provide a structured, safe environment of academic, social, and transition skills instruction for students within the autism community.

Our school community is guided by the following values: Respect, Responsibility, Initiative, Problem Solving, and Resiliency. Through these values, we demonstrate care, support, and high expectations for our students. In southern California, New Vista School is the only school of its kind designed specifically for students with high functioning autism.

Spirit League is a is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that gives children and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities an opportunity to participate in team sports that are tailored to meet their specific needs. In 2018, the Spirit League family included over 400 athletes with disabilities participating in baseball, basketball and/or soccer.

We emphasize the learning of basic sports skills and physical fitness for developmentally challenged boys and girls, ages 6-22 years, in southern Orange County, California. We have goals for both our athletes and their families. For our athletes, our goals are to foster self-esteem, enhance social skills and build friendships. For their families, our goals are to strengthen relationships, provide support and develop community.
