About the event
Ten Years Strong, held on May 18, 2019 at Smoky Hollow Studios in El
Segundo, CA, is a sold out, premier event attended by over 250 guests from the surrounding South Bay and Los Angeles communities. Proceeds from this night will benefit iACT's award-winning and refugee-led sports, education, and human rights programs.
This unique event offers guests an evening to celebrate and be inspired. Attendees enjoy an open bar, a three-course dinner, and live entertainment all night long. The event hosts an education and action center, opportunities to sponsor refugee athletes and students, and auction and raffle items. Your event support will allow 100% of the funds raised at Ten Years Strong to go directly to our programs. Guests leave fulfilled and personally connected to the refugee community we work with, a community which has been exposed to severe trauma and is now living in refugee camps and sites located in Chad, Sweden, Cameroon, and the Central African Republic.
Why should you sponsor?
We know that sports, education, mindfulness, and the opportunity to engage in action can change the future for the next generation of leaders. Ten Years Strong is not only an opportunity to create more peaceful and sustainable futures for refugees displaced by violence, but it is also the moment for you and your local community to personally connect with and celebrate the lives which you have touched.
Giving to Ten Years Strong gives you the chance to support refugee-led sports, education, and human rights programs that improve the lives of refugee youth and inspire tools, trainings, and curricula for U.S. students—from preschool to high school—to engage with the world. Your support is an investment in 10 more years of change.
In exchange for your support, we will promote your business and contribution on social media, online, through our email blasts to over 8,000 people nationwide, and at the event.
