The Accrington Beach event,

About the event
This is a free family fun day out in the centre of Accrington following the basic structure of a previous event I ran on Warner Street, (over 8000 visitors attended on the day)
It will feature a beach and old fashioned funfair as well as the much anticipated 'Mods and Rockers ride through' which we are expecting around 100 scooters, motorcycles and Trikes to then be on display for the public to photograph and chat about.
This event also features popular live local bands performing on a stage supplied by our local radio station 2BR who will be broadcasting live from the event.
We will be using the existing market for stalls, have various street performers (including a sambs drumming band) be selling 'Accrington rock' and many other attractions yet to be confirmed.

The event itself is designed to help boost businesses in our area and increase footfall in the town centre. you could be part of helping to boost our high street and our towns economy by sponsoring events like these which highlight existing businesses and shops to local people who are unaware of whats available as well as attracting visitors from other areas to see what a beautiful and historic town we have.
kate FureyMy name is Kate and I have a passion for organizing free, family orientated events in my local area. I am known for my fun ideas and themes at my events and some have attracted over 8 thousand visitors. I am best known for the events that myself and late co organiser organised on Warner street, Accrington in 2016/17.
In my spare time I run a theatre group for people with mental health problems, I sing in a band and I am a samba drummer. I am also a qualified Aromatherapist, recovery coach and mum to a daughter, a cat and 3 tortoises.

2 x banners on fences by beach area in full view of public throughout event, table for leaflets/ promotional items/ competitions etc by beach area. This area will be mostly families with small children that will be spending at least half an hour each there. This is the main feature of the event and only four are available, this area will be photographed extensively and put on social media and will be used by myself for publicity purposes (including my website) for future promotion and advertising.

2 roller banners in motorbike display area, you have the choice of being on the Mod side or the rockers side!!! The ride through and display is one of the most popular features of this event with approx 60 vehicles taking part. The bikes and scooters then park in the display area where they are admired and photographed by the public. This is an excellent opportunity to have your brand seen, photographed with the bikes and then shared on social media by the public themselves! the more sets of banners you have the cheaper the price. You will also be able to have your staff bring leaflets or other items to give away on the day. I have 62 sets of banners available and we organise the printing!!
