    The Art, Rhythm and Culture Festival is an organization that displays the many facets of urban culture through the main theme of Hip-Hop Music. The event is a unique occurrence benefitting charities that closely impact the Sarasota community, specifically non-profit companies that directly effect the youth. Each event is a blend of live visual artists and performing artists. The First Annual Art, Rhythm and Culture Festival will take place on September 22nd, 2018 at the Neel Performing Arts Center, the musician Ryanito will perform his album with the Pops Orchestra of Bradenton and Sarasota, featuring Michael Mendez of The West Coast Black Theatre Troupe. The goal is to present the genres of classical and Hip-Hop music with a non-traditional approach to reach a multi-generational demographic. An event of this kind has never occurred in Southwest Florida. Our philosophy is that culture should be accessible to everyone and our desire is to continue creating similar cultural events that benefit the community.

    • Goal and desire to document the event and submit to worldwide distribution outlets via Netflix, Google Play distribution when The Cosmic Guide LP Symphony Edition of the concert is released.

    Ryan Larranaga

    Art, Rhymes & Beer was created by co-curators Ryan Ryanito Larrañaga and Marcel Cellus Bauduin in 2015. They are curators dedicated to creating events that are an accessible, immersive & sensory experience rooted in Hip-Hop Culture through the combination of elements consisting of music, live art, dance & food. A cultural event in benefit to the community while supporting a local charitable organization(s) and documenting the events in the process of producing them through radio, photo, video, print and social media.

    Started in 2015 as Art, Rhymes & Beer at a local Sarasota brewery, after three years as Art, Rhymes & Beer co-curators Ryan Ryanito Larranaga & Marcel Cellus Bauduin will be changing the name of Art, Rhymes & Beer to the Art, Rhythm & Culture Festival.

    In celebration of the third year anniversary and name change, while looking for a new creative challenge. The idea to fuse the musical worlds of Hip-Hop music and Classical music together by creating a collaborative one night only concert experience with The Pops Orchestra of Sarasota & Bradenton to raise money for a charitable cause at the Neel Performing Arts Center.

    Ryan “Ryanito” Larrañaga is a talented creative artist, musician, emcee, radio personality and community worker. His previous community work/music events Art, Rhymes & Beer benefits local charities through live art and music performances and his educational music program teaching Jazz and Hip-Hop music to kids called Art, Rhymes & Kids with the Kennedy Center initiative Any Given Child in Sarasota, FL. He is also host of talk radio show Coffee & Donuts on WSRQ and WSLR radio stations.

    Marcel “Cellus” Bauduin has worked in radio since 2003 and has a Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University California, Santa Cruz. He has a passion for Hip -Hop music & culture and the benefit to the community. He has experience working at internet startups (i.e. Yelp, Prosper, Voalte), extensive hospitality industry and event management experience. He is the cofounder of Art, Rhymes & Beer and Art, Rhymes & Kids and co-host/producer of talk radio show Coffee & Donuts and the host of Beats, Rhymes & Life Radio. He was part of the first Hip -Hop music summit for community radio at the Grassroots Radio Conference in Ames, IA.
