About the event
The ultimate driving challenge. We pimp up vintage bangers, don fancy dress and drive them for thousands of miles on the world’s toughest roads..all for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The dumball is not a race. There are no prizes for first place...but we arrange everything to give you the best possible time. We stick together in convoys, give you radios so you can banter en route, and wherever we stop, the party starts. We've conquered Europe, Africa, and Asia. The 2020 event, which takes place 18th-27th January 2020 will be going beyond the wall…to Mexico! All to fund much needed support for teenagers with cancer.
If you haven’t heard of the dumball, we suggest you check out previous rallys in our gallery or our instagram feed and some of the videos in the dumbology section of our website: Dumball.org. Drivers don’t need to know a thing about cars to come and drive an old school Beetle across stunning mountains, through jungles, and along the pacific coast. The Mexican people are the friendlist in the world, renowkned for their hospitality and food. Join us for the adventure of a lifetime in a beautiful vintage VW!
On the 2020 rally we expect 150 participants, and for the event to reach over a milloin people worldwide across TV, social and online.

I set up the Dumball Rally as a non profit 12 years ago, and as we head towards our most ambitious event yet, with yet more global press coverage and TV reach - I'm keen to work with a select few sponsors to help leverage the exposure to make sure we raise some serious money for the Teenage Cancer trust - who we have raised over £1million for so far!
