The Good Guys Auction,

FLUXX Nightclub, San Diego, California, United States FLUXX Nightclub, San Diego, California, United States

  • About the event

Join us at the American Cancer Society 2018 The Good Guys Auction on Saturday, December 1, 2018, for a one-of-a-kind evening. We will be auctioning off spectacular date packages with some of San Diego’s most eligible bachelors and featuring, a silent auction, drink specials, photobooth, a Kendra Scott pop-up boutique, and much more.

With your support, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer. The American Cancer Society is working to finish the fight against every cancer in every community. We are the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the United States, investing more than $4 billion since 1946. Thanks in part to our contributions, more than 1.5 million lives have been saved in the US in the past two decades. Now, that is a reason to celebrate, so please join us.

    Why should you sponsor?

Here at the American Cancer Society we're on a mission to free the world from cancer. Until we do, we'll be funding and conducting research, sharing expert information, supporting patients, and spreading the word about prevention. With your help, we can make a difference in our community!

The donations raised in San Diego help fund local programs in our community and support our patient services—services we provide free of charge to your neighbors, friends and family members. The proceeds raised from the auction will directly benefit The American Cancer Society’s research and patient services such as:

    • Free Support & Information – Free information, support, and access to resources through our 24/7 helpline at 800-227-2345 or via live chat at cancer.org

    • Road to Recovery - Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to treatment, but some may not have a way to get there. This program provides transportation to and from treatment for people with cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves.

    • Reach to Recovery - Finding out that you have breast cancer can make you feel overwhelmed, vulnerable, and alone. This program has been helping people cope with their breast cancer experience – as early as the first possibility of a diagnosis and continuing for as long as breast cancer remains a personal concern to them.
