The Peace Agenda,

Silver Spring, Maryland, United States Silver Spring, Maryland, United States

  • About the event

The Peace Agenda is a gathering of peace enthusiasts to create and act on a sustainable agenda for achieving peace.

The Peace Agenda will greatly benefit individuals, who seek to achieve positive transformational personal, professional and communal lives, and by extension contribute to world peace.

Some persons think that peace is elusive. When one considers the level of conflicts within oneself, family, work place, community, country and the world, achieving peace can be dismal.

If we reflect on the effect that small waves make on the surface of water — the ripple effect, we will realize that being an agent of peace can positively effect peace on our families. Our family members then propagate peace and peace spreads.

    Why should you sponsor?

I will be glad to receive sponsorship for my event- The Peace Agenda.

When we encounter uneasiness, difficulties, anxieties, distress, chaos, violence, contentions and conflict in its inexhaustible ramifications, peace is possible.

This epochal event will also highlight nonviolent conflict resolution, the need to maintain good mental health, noting the vulnerability of persons experiencing mental challenges and the need to refrain from stigmatization, whilst encouraging persons to seek help.

The Peace Agenda will strategize for an action plan for peacebuilding and encourage participants to believe that peace is possible and to become advocates of peace.

Together, we can make the world more peaceful.
