On Saturday 24th August 2019 at 9am, the 'Ramble for Refreshment' will take place in both Hinckley and Blackpool as an opportunity to promote unity and help raise money for the Refreshment UK 2019 Special Appeal.
On the day, the 100 walkers will visit 17 churches in two locations and complete their sponsored walk as a group around main routes in both towns. They will also visit significant locations in the towns and raise the profile of Refreshment UK.
Refreshment UK is known for its missionary training, but also, for raising the awareness of mental health through their drop-in centres. The event will be promoted through their shop in the centre of Blackpool, as well as in all media.
Why should you sponsor?
This is a unique opportunity to raise awareness for your organisation in two very different towns, but also to have 50 people walking a route of 6 miles around each town with your company logo in tact.
Refreshment UK also has a national following and the advantage of being sponsored gives you a national reach.
Simon CooperRefreshment UK is a registered charity within the UK that exists to encourage and equip Christians in the UK, as well as provide mental health support in Blackpool and overseas aid in India. We do this through training courses in Blackpool, local community development, provision of a mental health drop in space, overseas mission trips and Christian discipleship courses, as well as providing mentoring and resources for individuals.

Each venue will have 50 walkers who will be walking around a 6 mile course to raise money and awareness for Refreshment UK, a well-known charity in both locations. We are looking for a sponsor who will have their company/organisation name across the back of the T-shirts worn by the participants (100 across two venues), connected with all publicity materials which reaches across hundreds on social media and local press (The XXXXX Ramble for Refreshment), and company logo printed on the sponsor forms. This will be a headline sponsorship package and will be promoted across two towns in the UK.
