About the event
The Welsh Open is a large martial arts competition for tatami martial arts including karate, taekwondo, Kung fu & kickboxing.
We attract best part of 500 martial art athletes from all over the UK and abroad. With upto and over 1000 entries each year and we are rapidly growing.
On the 15th June 2024, we take things to a new level by expanding into the illustrious Vindico Arena in Cardiff.
We are now looking to gain sponsors for our event as we believe it is a superb platform for any business to help promote/expand their brand whilst supporting athletes at all levels along with being seen to help support charity which makes your investment 100% tax deductable.
Our chosen charities this year are "Crichton House", "Young Lives Vs Cancer" & "Peace of Mind"
We want to use our platform to enact great things on others that need help and it's something we are extremely proud of.
Why should you sponsor?
A sponsor should support our event as they get their brand out there on a different level whilst demonstrating the importance of supporting charities that make a real change to the community. Our athletes will also benefit hugely from the sponsors support as we look to ensure levels of participation in martial arts increase so that kids gain a brighter future.
