About the event
The Northwest Ohio Association of Local Authors is again hosting, The Writer’s Block Author Fair will be taking place, Saturday, December 14th, from 10-5pm at the Franklin Park Mall and we are looking for sponsors.
Last year, this event had almost 30 local authors on hand to meet and greet, sign copies of their books and talk with people about writing and publishing. It was an amazing event and a great success. This year’s event will be even better! Not only are we holding the event later in the year and in the midst of the Christmas shopping season, but we will be located primarily in the central plaza of the mall. This will increase foot traffic immensely and it will be a great opportunity for you to get your business out in front of thousands of people.
As you can see, this is shaping up to be a great event and this is your chance to be a part of it. Not only will you be supporting local authors, but you will be promoting literacy and the love of reading.

Michael TimminsHello, my name is Michael TImmins. I am a Toledo area local author who writes fantasy novels. I have three published works and a fourth in the process of being published. Last year, I organized The Writer's Block Author fair at the local mall in hopes to raise awareness of the local author talent in Toledo and the surrounding area. We had almost 30 authors in attendence and it was a great success. I plan to improve upon last years event by having more authors and hopefully, a live broadcast from a local radio station during the event.
