Tonia Blackwood

Tonia Blackwood brings 20+ years combined experience in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, and recruiting.  As a parallel entrepreneur, Tonia is devoted to impacting lives in her role as a Recruiter with AXA Financial, as well as providing training and coaching to women and girls who seek to take their lives to the next level. Given her life journey through what some would consider halting medical challenges, she remains passionate about educating and empowering others to recognize the impact of their brand on their own career as well as the careers of those around them.

 

Her compassionate, yet no-nonsense approach to mentoring and coaching coupled with her ability to meet individuals where they are in their personal and/or professional lives, has only validated her recent decision to launch her own training and development company, Then I Rise.  She holds both a Bachelor’s in Management with a concentration in Human Resources and an Associate degree in Business Administration. Tonia resides in the Concord, North Carolina and fellowships at Elevation Church under the leadership of Steven Furtick. She served honorably in the United States Army Reserves for over ten years and is a proud recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow distinction from her days as a Rotarian.

She enjoys traveling,  cooking and singing in her spare time.
