About the event

The 3rd annual Wexford Film Festival will take place in the Wexford Arts Centre in Wexford Town which is based in South East Ireland during the August Bank Holiday Weekend in 2018 which is August 3rd - 5th 2018.

​Wexford is the county town of County Wexford, Ireland. It is near the southeastern corner of the island of Ireland, close to Rosslare Europort.

We aim to showcase the best independent film from around the world during our 3 day event.

We are entering our third year running the festival and with each passing year the festival's reputation is growing as a worthwhile event. Last year we had a sold out venue on each of the three nights of screenings and with our marketing & growing reputation in the area we hope to have another sold out year, which means more eyes on your sponsorship.

I am a filmmaker who was tired of attending poor quality film events in run down venues or in inadequte venues such as the back of pizza shops ( that really happened). So I took it upon myself to establish a film festival, filmmakers would be proud to be part of and that audience member could enjoy.

The aim of the festival is to promote up & coming filmmakers and to put a spot light of the best talent in the independent cinema scene.
