A cartoon by heart, comedian by nature, a writer by profession and performer by birth, Zakir is the winner of Comedy Central's hunt for ‘Best Stand Up Comic of India’.

Besides performing at many stand-up comedy shows, he has also done ghostwriting and produced radio shows. His comedy style was applauded in NDTV Prime's "The Rising Stars of Comedy" television show. He is known for his punchline "Sakht launda", which means a guy with immense self-control who would not be easily manipulated by pretty, cunning girls.

He has won may accolade for his Amazon Prime Video special “Haq se Single” which has made him one of the most sought-after names in the field of Indian comedy.

I am Surmeet Lamba from Wise Dreams BV.

We are presently the only company in the Netherlands to organize Indian stand-up comedy shows by grooming the local stand-up comedians and providing big stage opportunities to them. We cater such comedy shows to a large varied Indian audience under the banner of "Serious Time Pass Films".

We have already organized three successful full house stand-up comedy shows within a span of one year, pulling a large audience from different location falling under various age groups.

The first show was held at Novotel Hoofddorp, second at Dudok cafe Den Haag and the third one at Amsterdam comedy cafe. All the three shows pulling a totally different set of audience and being a full house.

After three massive successful shows, our next upcoming show is "Zakir Khan - Live in Amsterdam". Zakir Khan is the best and most famous stand-up comedian from India. There are 2 planned shows on 23rd of February and both of them are already sold out.
