The Interactive Case Competition, media & tech's leading student case study competition and recruitment initiative, pits top U.S. graduate student teams in a contest to tackle a timely industry challenge. The students get educated and mentored with the aid of a Coaches Council of industry experts, making them attractive candidates for internships and jobs. The competition culminates with a Finals Event online before an industry audience and a Judges Panel of leading executives, who award the top teams cash prizes. Now in its 10th year, 40% of competition alumni currently work in media & tech fields. This year features two live online competitions, in spring and fall -- all sponsorships include both events. The spring competition will focus on an urgent national challenge, Closing the Digital Divide.
The Interactive Case Competition supports recruitment, diversity, industry education and media brands. Craig Leddy, producer and host of the Interactive Case Competition, is a leading authority, writer, educator and historian on television, cable, broadband, wireless and streaming.
Following a longtime career as a business journalist covering media and technology, Leddy founded Interactive TV Works, Inc., a New York-based consultancy promoting understanding of digital media opportunities.
In 2011, he founded the Interactive Case Competition to foster real-world education and recruitment opportunities for graduate students. More than 350 students have participated in competitions, 40% of whom currently work in media & tech fields.
As senior education advisor for CTAM (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing), he teaches popular CTAM Advance Executive Education courses to industry professionals, providing expert education for more than 6,000 managers and employees to date.
A former editor of Cablevision magazine, Leddy frequently writes for online industry publications and appears on conference panels. His goal is to create opportunities for everyone in the media business.
