About the event
Anime Maryville is run by the 501(c)(3) Library, ACE TN. We use Manga Comics and the rising popularity of Anime to encourage the practice of literacy skills. Through games and activities participants practice reading and math without even realizing it!

With your support we can help young people have a better future. Illiteracy is a rising problem in Tennessee, and our world is becoming more open. Together we can make sure our young people have the best foundation possible before going out into the world.

17 years experience in Games industry working on GaaS projects, watched the negative effect it was having on the lives of our youth and decided to instead use the same concepts to imporve their chances in life. In just the first year we were able to create 3 events, and a mobile library.
