I'm Geraldine Okon, Program Manager for the Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP) at Baruch College and Founder of The Cyber Thriver, an initiative focused on advancing cybersecurity awareness, education, and equity, especially for underrepresented communities in tech.

I created the CUNY AI Agent Showdown at Baruch to give students across the CUNY system a space to explore the rapidly evolving landscape of AI, cybersecurity, and ethical innovation. My goal is to design meaningful, hands-on experiences that bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world challenges from building intelligent agents to understanding the vulnerabilities that exist within them.

This event reflects Baruch's commitment to building inclusive pathways into tech leadership, connecting students with industry professionals, and preparing the next generation to not only use AI, but to secure it, question it, and shape it responsibly.
