This is the first-ever Durga Puja celebration organized by Navodaya Cultural Association in Dhanori, Pune, taking place in 2026. It marks the beginning of what we hope will become a cherished annual tradition in this part of the city.

Durga Puja itself celebrates the victory of Maa Durga over evil, symbolizing strength, new beginnings, and divine blessings — which makes 2026 a especially meaningful year for us to launch this celebration in Dhanori.

Our goals with this inaugural edition are to:

• Bring an authentic, traditional Durga Puja experience to Dhanori
• Unite families and devotees from across Pune — including Vishrantwadi, Lohegaon, Viman Nagar, and Yerwada
• Build a long-term Durga Puja tradition rooted in this locality
