About the event

Flow Forward NJ's "Flow: Musings On Menstruation" event is a three-in-one event: an art contest, a gallery, and an auction. Artists create pieces to enter into our art contest for a chance to win cash prizes and menstrual products, then donate their art to be auctioned off to benefit our charity. Their menstrual health-inspired pieces will additionally be displayed during Women's History Month in March to showcase their hardwork and contribute to ending the stigma around menstruation.

Why should you sponsor?

By supporting Flow Forward NJ, you support the end of period poverty, or the inadequate access to menstrual products. You empower our small charity to do bigger and better things. My name is Sarah, and I am the co-founder and Executive Director of Flow Forward NJ. I started Flow Forward NJ as "Project Period" while a senior in college after experiencing period poverty during the pandemic. Our small but mighty team has gathered over 1000 donations of menstrual products in the past two years, and we recently became an official 501c3 nonprofit, achieving a dream I thought near impossible. We are a small team of young women with big dreams doing this completely on our own. Any support helps.
