What is Island Fest?
The Hawaiian Island Volleyball Festival, known as Island Fest, is an indoor USA Volleyball and AUU Beach youth volleyball championship combined under one festival. Island Fest celebrates the best in the sport from around the world in the spirit of cultural exchange.
Set in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, Island Fest brings top international and American youth teams together, in one of the sport’s epicenters of the world, to showcase their talents and grow through cultural exchange.

Island Fest’s passion for volleyball and desire to invite the world to play in one of the epicenters of the sport has lead to the creation of one of the most innovative and exciting volleyball tournaments in the country.
Founded in the ‘spirit of aloha’, Island Fest prides itself on cultural exchange made possible through the sport.
Ohana (family), respect, integrity, competition, and ‘good vibes’ are the hallmarks of the island-style of play and they are the pillars upon which the Island Fest stands.
Culture & Adventure
Island Fest is not just a volleyball tournament. It is an experience of a lifetime. Island Fest partners with some of the top cultural ambassadors in the islands to produce a unique cultural experience. The Island Fest Welcome Lūʻau and the tournamentʻs Opening Ceremonies are experiences the entire family will enjoy.
3 days of competition and 1 day of play. Our Island Adventure Day rounds out the tournament experience. Teams bond through natural adventures with our curated partners. Whether it is learning how to surf in the warm, crystal clear waters of Waikiki or canoe racing or snorkeling Hanauma Bay, a true natural wonder of the world, Island Fest offers the experience of a lifetime!

Island Fest establishes a worldwide tournament in one of the historic epicenters of the sport - Honolulu, Hawai’i. Island Fest provides an early summer travel experience with a significant impact to the island economy.
- Bring 100 to 225 indoor youth teams from around the Nation and the world for an international competition, and 1 day of adventure while immersed in the culture of Hawaiʻi.
- Bring thousands of visitors to the Island of Oahu who are participants in, and spectators of the tournament.
- Environmental stewardship: Island Fest teams participate in VOLUNTOURISM opportunities that leave the island better than when the tournament started.

Jason OliveI am an All-American and National Champion volleyball player and coach with an extensive background in the entertainment industry. I am also a volleyball club owner of 9 years and deeply invested in the sport and the evolution of its events.
