About the event

The Citizen Consumer Club of Ethiraj College for Women has successfully completed 14 years of its inception, under the guidance of Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Government of Tamil Nadu, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards empowering consumers. Through these years, the club has tirelessly worked towards creating awareness, advocating for consumer rights and fostering a culture of responsible consumption. 

Now at this juncture, the club has planned to organise “Ignite Insight” on 1st March 2024. The main motive of the event is to promote consumer awareness among various classes of society through digital platforms. Nearly 1000 Students  will showcase their innovative poster on consumer awareness within the stipulated time limit of 5 minutes. This event will also be aired live on the club’s YouTube channel on the day of the event. This will enable the club to set an exclusive new record in the Indian Book of Records and Asian Book of Records.
