KEY Art + Design Fair is the "Fine Arts Homecoming" — an oceanfront contemporary art fair held during Miami Art Week (December 2–6, 2026), the largest art-market week in America, drawing 100,000+ visitors a day to Miami Beach. Now in its second year, KEY is the only fair of the week exhibiting HBCU excellence: student and alumni artists from the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities showing alongside emerging and established artists of the global African Diaspora — Africa, the Caribbean, the Americas, and Europe. Set on a one-acre beachfront campus at 4601 Collins Avenue (Indian Beach Park, steps from the Fontainebleau, Eden Roc Nobu, and Soho Beach House), the fair spans a 32,000 sq ft pavilion of museum-quality galleries plus five days and five nights of programming: curated exhibitions, main-stage panels with leading collectors and curators, nightly concerts, a VIP collector yacht party, gospel brunch, culinary experiences, and a juried HBCU Student Art Competition with scholarship prizes. The audience: 25,000 projected attendees — college-educated, high-income (general $75K–$250K+; VIP collectors $250K–$1M+), ages 35–65, traveling from New York, Atlanta, DC, LA, Houston, Chicago, and internationally. They collect original art, support Black-owned brands, and come to Miami specifically to spend on culture. For sponsors, KEY offers cultural participation rather than conventional signage: named pavilions and stages, branded VIP lounges and activations, category exclusivity, hospitality for client entertainment, and alignment with the fair's 501(c)(3) arm, the KEY Emerging Art Fund, which funds scholarships and emerging-artist programs. Partnership levels from $25K to $150K+, with custom packages built to a brand's objectives. Produced by CADA Art Fair L3C · keyartfair.com
Because this audience can't be bought anywhere else — and the moment can't be replicated.
Every December, the global art market lands on Miami Beach: 100,000+ visitors a day, over $1.3 billion in art sales, and the most concentrated gathering of affluent Black collectors, professionals, and tastemakers in America. KEY Art + Design Fair is where that audience comes home — the only fair of Miami Art Week exhibiting HBCU excellence alongside the global African Diaspora. Our 25,000 attendees are 35–65, college-educated, earning $75K to $1M+, and they arrive already spending — on art, travel, hospitality, and the brands that show up for their culture. Sponsoring KEY isn't renting a logo placement in front of them; it's owning a named pavilion, stage, lounge, or experience inside the week they plan their year around — with category exclusivity, VIP hospitality for your own clients, and content worth publishing.
And because the money means something. KEY's 501(c)(3) arm, the KEY Emerging Art Fund, turns partnership dollars into scholarships, a free national student art competition, and exhibition opportunities that put HBCU student artists on the world's art stage — in our first year, thirty Howard University students exhibited, sat on panels, and met the collectors and curators who shape careers. A sponsor of KEY gets what modern brands actually need: measurable access to a high-value audience, cultural credibility that can't be manufactured, and a philanthropic story their customers — and their employees — will be proud of. One partnership. Marketing, hospitality, and mission — all on the sand.

The founder of KEY Art + Design Fair, Kellee Baker, is an art collector, a Howard University School of Law graduate, and lifetime entrepreneur. The fair was built around a simple observation from years of Decembers in Miami: the culture fills every room of Art Week, but never owned a stage of its own. KEY Art + Design Fair is that stage — promoting emerging artists, art panel discussions and musical performances.
The Fair's Artistic Director & Chief Curator, Ludlow E. Bailey, has curated Contemporary African Diaspora Art programming during Miami Art Week for seventeen consecutive years — the panels, exhibitions, and collector events that make him one of the most trusted names in the art world.
Our proposition is simple and ambitious: Global Black art deserves a global platform equal to its extraordinary influence on contemporary culture. KEY presents emerging, mid-career, and established artists of Africa and its Diaspora — from the Continent and the Caribbean to the Americas and Europe — across painting, photography, sculpture, installation, digital practice, fashion, design, performance, and music.
A Fair for Discovery
KEY is built for the serious collector searching for the artist whose work belongs in an important collection today — and whose ideas may define the art history of tomorrow. And because the future of art must be cultivated, not simply observed, KEY builds on its relationship with Howard University's Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts and other HBCU art programs to create pathways connecting HBCU and emerging artists with curators, collectors, and the international marketplace.
Beyond the Booth
KEY Conversations convenes museum directors, artists, critics, and collectors for provocative dialogue on the forces reshaping Global Black art — while live music, from jazz and Afrobeat to soul and Caribbean traditions, animates a fair conceived around art, conversation, hospitality, and connection.
Curated Access
For collectors: private previews, curator-led tours, artist encounters, and VIP hospitality. For select global brands: cultural participation beyond conventional sponsorship — commissioned installations, collector lounges, artist collaborations, and support for emerging talent.
This is our 4th art week event. The first two were “Black Art Yacht Experience” (BAYE Miami). We expanded to KEY Art + Design Fair, which debuted in December 2025 in a 15,000 sq ft venue at 8th & Collins, where Howard University's Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts brought thirty student artists to exhibit, sit on panels, and meet the collectors and press of Miami Art Week. Year Two exists because Year One delivered — and grew: with the support of the City of Miami Beach, we now hold a one-acre oceanfront site at 4601 Collins Avenue, in the hotel corridor adjacent to Eden Roc Nobu, Fontainebleau, and Soho Beach House.
