About the event

LASA’s Back-to-School Celebration is an 18+ Welcome Week event hosted by the Latin American Student Association (LASA) at Georgia State University. The event is designed to bring together more than 500 college students from Georgia State and surrounding universities to celebrate the start of the academic year, build new friendships, and strengthen the college community in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. While rooted in celebrating Latin American culture, the event welcomes students of all backgrounds and has become one of LASA’s largest annual community events.

To make this event possible, we are seeking sponsorships to help cover the cost of securing the venue and other essential event expenses, including security, audio/visual production, and event operations. In return, sponsors receive direct exposure to a large, engaged college audience through social media promotions, event marketing, and on-site brand visibility. By partnering with LASA, sponsors are not only promoting their business to hundreds of students but also investing in a student-led organization dedicated to creating opportunities for cultural engagement, leadership development, and community building at Georgia State University.

My name is Bryan Lopez Trejo, and I am the President of the Latin American Student Association (LASA) at Georgia State University. I am passionate about creating events that bring students together and strengthen our campus community. I take pride in building professional relationships with local businesses and ensuring every partnership is handled with transparency, organization, and clear communication. My goal is to create successful events that provide value to both students and our sponsors, while building long-term relationships that benefit everyone involved.
