About the event

My name is Max Davis, and I’m a Washington, DC resident organizing a marathon challenge around the Washington Monument on May 10th to raise money for the Beck Davis Survivors of Loss Foundation, which supports families who have lost a child, especially to suicide.

I’ll be running 328 laps to complete a full marathon, marking three years since I lost my brother. The entire run will be fully documented and shared across social media, building on a previous event that reached over 250,000 views and received radio coverage.

I’m reaching out to explore a potential partnership with Brands for this project. The run is built around endurance, focus, and mental resilience making it a natural fit for your products. I lost my brother three years ago to suicide, and since then I’ve been committed to turning that loss into action. I am organizing a marathon event in Washington, D.C. around the National Mall and the Washington Monument to raise awareness and funds for the Beck Davis Survivors of Loss Foundation, which supports families navigating the loss of a child. Through this run and the content surrounding it, my goal is to honor my brother’s memory, spark honest conversations around mental health and suicide prevention, and do whatever I can to help other families facing similar pain.
