Shastrarth, the annual inter-collegiate debate hosted by Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, embraces change as its only constant and debate as its universal language. As we present Shastrarth’24 in our 14th year, we are bigger and better, embodying a spirit of dynamism and evolution. This year, Shastrarth aims to elevate its status as one of Mumbai's premier debating platforms by attracting participants from all over India. For those with strong opinions, Shastrarth offers the perfect platform to express and challenge ideas.
Since its inception in 2011, Shastrarth has garnered enthusiastic participation from renowned colleges such as St. Xavier's College, NMIMS School of Commerce, Symbiosis School of Economics, and Jai Hind College. The event has also benefited from the insights of esteemed judges, including Dr. Ajit Ranade, Soha Ali Khan, and Mr. Dharmakirti Joshi, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives in the evaluation process.
