About the event
‘Sip and Speculate’ is a student run, virtual trivia night all to support and fundraise for Lifeline Australia.
Due to the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic in NSW, this event will be held online on Friday the 29th of October. We are intending to host upwards of 50 guests during the event with a projected fundraising target of $1000 for Lifeline Australia. This fun and entertaining evening will also feature a raffle which will include some exciting prizes and also provide guests the chance to hear from our charity.
During the current climate we believe it is vital to bring people together for a night of entertainment whilst also focusing on the importance of addressing mental health, especially in these periods of lockdown.
The primary target audience of the event will be adults from ages 18-30. The majority of this audience will consist of the TAFE group’s family and friends.
In addition to this primary target market, there is hope that the sponsors involved will be able to support and attend the event too.
Tickets for the event will be sold on Eventbrite, potentially bringing in additional attendees through traffic on the Eventbrite website.

Sarah PennisiWe are a group of TAFE students at Wollongong Tafe, currently completeing an advanced diploma in events management. This event is an opportunity to expand our learning and also fundraise for a charity. We are all extremly driven and passionate individuals who would love to host a spectacular event, whilst raising much needed funds for Lifeline Australia.
