About the event
This free event brings our community together to get into the Halloween spirit and enjoy a movie under the stars! Over 15 car trunks have already signed up to participate in this event. We have 6 food trucks joining us. We like to keep our events free for our community so anyone and everyone can enjoy them with their families. It is a safe space for the community to come together and enjoy the time together.
Why should you sponsor?
Our events have been growing in size in the last few months. We are expecting over 3,000 people to attend! Our sponsors will help provide candy for our community, the license to show our movie outdoors, and free prizes for our scarecrow scavenger hunt! With over 3,000 people attending and over 8,000 peopel following our social media our sponsors will definitely be recognized in a variety of ways!
Kristin HaywardHi! I am the special events coordinator at Widefield Parks & Rec. I have joined the parks and rec team recently in June of 2026. I was originally a math teacher at a local junior high. Since I have stepped into this role, I have not stopped! My passion is to give back to our community and to create events that our members wants to be a part of! Since I have started our event numbers have more than doubled. Our numbers range from 500 - 4,000 people and they are only getting bigger! I love being part of the Widefield community and giving people a safe space to come together that is free for them to enjoy!
